Dear MyWebResource Community, Readers and Affiliates:
This post is to inform you all that MWR is officially under new ownership as of today, July, 31, 2007. I am not exactly sure of the feedback this news is going to receive from the community, but personally I am thrilled to let you know that I am one excited man. Please allow me to introduce myself; I am Semih Gorgulu, an online entrepreneur who has done everything from gaming, domain reselling, web hosting, web designing, template designing to the good old one million dollar home page.
When I saw this website for sale, I was very excited for the future of this community. I have talked with Mr. James Morris who was the first and only owner of this community driven website for as long as it has been operating and serving the web. I shared my visions for the future of MWR and he was very glad to hear my ideas on evolving this community to a new era but still keeping the old friendly and community driven atmosphere. I could tell from the conversations between Mr. Morris and I that Mr. Morris values this site more than any other, and of my respect to all the current and future members of this website as well as Mr. Morris, I would like the chance to assure you all of a more successful future for MWR.
We will be bringing new Forums Section, a new categorized Tutorials Section, and my personal favorite is Free Hosting for every one on the net! and to tie it all up a brand new custom Template.
I would also like to inform you that MWR will remain the ultimate resource site for XOOPS themes.
I would also like to ask for volunteer support from this growing community, because after all, MWR is nothing with out you. If any one is interested in helping on one of the below categories, please give me a buzz at “Contact Us.”
- Forum Moderator and Admin
- Free Web Hosting Technical Support
- Blog Writer
- Tutorial Finder (Search for tutorials on the net and link it the according section.)
Last but not least, we will not say Good Bye to Mr. Morris because he is always welcome on this website and he will always remain as the founder of this great community.
Once again, I am Semih Gorgulu, and I would love to get to know you all so please register at our community and send me an email to say “Hi” and give me some input on how to improve this community, I will definitely reply! email: mwrsemih@gmail.com.
Thank you all for reading.
Sincerely, Semih Gorgulu.

Semih,
Thank you very much for stepping up to take MyWebResource to the next level!
To the Community:
Semih and I have discussed at great length his vision for MyWebResource and I can assure you he is going to usher in a new era for this site and community that exceeds what I was ever able to do. I would not have agreed to handing this site over to him if that were not the case. There are many positive changes about to take place here and I would like to publicly express my full support for Semih.
I will be working with Semih closely over the coming weeks to ensure a smooth transition. Once the migration process is complete, I will be remaining a part of this community as a regular contributor.
So, while the “Guard” may be changing, it is a change for the better and the “Old Guard” will still be here to help and contribute as always.
To those who frequent this site from the XOOPS community….
Semih has assured me that the XOOPS for Dummies tutorials will remain mirrored here as well as all of the themes and modules I’ve made for XOOPS. I will be working with Semih and his team of designers so that they can start contributing high quality XOOPS designs to the XOOPS community.
As stated earlier, I will remain as a member of this community; therefore, support will still be available for themes and modules I’ve contributed here.
I’m very excited about the changes about to take place and I sincerely feel that the best days of MyWebResource are ahead of us.
Here’s to the success of MyWebResource… Cheers!
- James
